Can I put my furniture on the curb for pick up?
Your local sanitation department might offer a bulk trash pick up day once or twice a month. Be sure to check with your local sanitation department to confirm when your neighborhood pickup dates are and the the furniture you are setting out is eligible to be picked up. Leaving furniture on the curb when it is not a scheduled bulk trash pick up day can result in fines from the city. If you have furniture that has been infected by bed bugs you should not place it out on the curb for pickup. Call your local exterminator for treatment and Junk Geeks can properly dispose of your furniture.

Can furniture be recycled?
Furniture can definitely be recycled! Furniture made out of wood, metal or other recyclable materials can often be taken to your local recycling center. If in decent condition, furniture can usually also be sold, refinished, reupholstered, or repurposed. Junk Geeks tries to donate furniture that is still in good condition in order to keep excess waste out of the landfills.
